Puppy Selection Process

When a litter is born and I have a full count of available puppies, I will open my form up to collect information on those interested. I want to know about you as we will be in each others lives as you will have a precious piece of me that I have put my blood sweat and tears into. I want to know your lifestyle and preferences on a puppy so I can place you with a puppy that will fit into your life and set you up for success. You will know which puppy you are getting at 7 to 8 weeks old after structure evaluations and breed/sire picks have been made.

Do I get to pick my puppy?

Short answer is no.

A short time with a puppy isn't enough to know how a puppy will fit into your life. That puppy asleep in the corner might just be tired when you come but in reality is the devil himself when awake. I've know these puppies since birth and know their personalities. Their strengths, drives, structures. Trust me and my knowledge to pick you out the best possible puppy for your life even if it wasn't the one you had your heart set on based on photos and videos. There will be times two puppies show personalities that I think would suit one home and I will take their opinions into consideration for final selection before moving to the next home but in the end, I want these puppies to go to their forever homes and placing them myself gives them that best possible shot. I am here for the life of these puppies and will always be there for you if you have any questions or need help as you raise your new best friend.

How Much Is a Puppy?

I cannot provide a definite answer on this question as each litter price might change according to the dam and sire chosen for each pairing. Price of each puppy will be listed in the litter announcements spot for each litter. At this time, I expect litters to range between $1800 and $2500 depending on the stud chosen. I do not charge more for male or female or by color in one litter as I put the same amount of time and energy into each puppy in the litter.

Why so "expensive"? I just want a pet not a show dog

Pricing may seem like a lot to many that just want a pet or hiking buddy but in the end, most don't regret going with an ethical breeder that shows, titles, and health tests for their next best friend and pet. For this price you get a predictable, stable temperament, you get the peace of mind of health testing and a health guarantee if something genetic were to come up. You get lifetime breeder and mentor support and support from other owners to help you through the puppy stage or for any concerns you may have. You have a family of those that will celebrate even the smallest accomplishments with you and cheer you on. A family that will grief with you when the time finally comes to say goodbye.

Can I breed my dog?

All puppies will be sold on limited registration with a spay and neuter contract (18-24 months) unless otherwise specified. I will happily discuss a co-own and full registration for those interested in showing and titling their dog and pending health testing allowing to breed after 2 years of age. No Tsuki Labrador is to be bred outside the contract as I want to ensure these puppies are not contributing to the shelter population or to backyard breeders that risk the health and wellbeing of dogs for the sake of money.
